MFT Teaser Day 3

Today I'll be featuring PI Skater Boy. How cute is he?! I had a blast making this card, because like I mentioned yesterday, I don't have many masculine cards and I have a hubbs and 3 boys! This stamp set was PERFECT for my nephew's birthday coming up in May. The paper collection I used is by My Mind's Eye. I had accidentally scored my card incorrectly (happens when I try to multi-task... I was chatting on the phone with my BFF while I was card prepping... LOL!) But I was able to make due with my mistake. I cut out a few Simply Scallop dies cuts in Hot Fudge cardstock and MME DP and added it to the "shorter" side of my card. :-) Voila! Problem solved. LOL!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll be back again tomorrow with more MFT teasers so don't go too far!

I created this card using the new DCWV Tattered Time paper collection. The papers were my inspiration. I wanted to make a masculine card since I don't have many of those in my stash... so I started digging through my craft stash for little vintage findings.

My card features the Clearly Sentimental About Success stamp set, former Triple Scoop set. I love the variety of sentiments available on this set -- and PERFECT for cards for those upcoming graduations!

Altered Circle Tin with Mini Album

Hey everyone! I'm here with a FUN Mother's day project for Stampers Dream. I could NOT keep my hands off the new Webster's Pages goodies I got from the Stampers Dream store... it's so yummy!! And Michelle has all the fun coordinating sparklers, silhouettes, stickers, stick pins.... you name it! The embellishments make putting something like this together SO easy and did I already say FUN?!

I created this altered tin and mini album as sort of a tribute to my Mom. My Mom is my best friend and I love her so much! I've been wanting to create a little mini just of her, and that's what this is!  I hope she likes it!

The paper collection I'm using is the new Webster's Pages 6x6 Double Pack Trendsetters and Ladies & Gents. I also used the coordinating Images and Phrases cardstock stickers for both Trendsetter and Ladies & Gents.
I used some luscious Maya Road trim on this project, but be sure to check out my video HERE for an up-close look at this circle tin and mini album.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out Stampers Dream for the latest finds!

MFT Teaser Day 1

Hey everyone and welcome to MFT Teaser Day 1 of 5! We are so excited to showcase some of the new products from My Favorite Things in the next 5 days, a prelude to the release on May 3rd! I don't know about you, but I can't wait! hehe!

Today the MFT design team will be sharing projects using 3 new stamp sets: Flapper Doodles - SS Flapper, Well-Worn Greetings and Fred Bear Plays Indian. I'll be sharing a project using Well-Worn Greetings.

What a SUPER fun stamp set Well-Worn Greetings is. I love distress and shabby chic and anything worn works well for me! LOL! Plus, I just ADORE the denim texture stamp included in the set... so COOL!! (Funny how the little things in life rock my world, eh? hehe!) Anyhow, I decided to create a Layout of my eldest son Jarrod. I had never scrapped this baby picture of him. This is his FIRST studio picture at age 1. Is he not the cutest? Looks like he's about to jolt off that stool.... (well, guess what... he DID!! LMBO!)

I used one of my 11 1/2 x 11/12 AccuCut dies as the base of the layout. I cut it out in chipboard and layered some MME paper on it. I took some white acrylic paint to distress the edges of the layout and "wiped" some of the paint onto the page to give it a dingey-shabby feel. The photo and 8x8 piece are layered onto MFT "Fossil" cardstock. I used the Open Zig Zag Die-namics border to accent the sides of the layout. Don't you just love those Rolled Flowers cut out with MFT's cork sheets? So fun! And the coordinating Well-Worn Greetings Die-namics made layering the sentiment a breeze! I used MFT's Typewriter Alphabet set to spell out Jarrod's name, punched out the letters with my 1/2" circle punch and popped on some epoxy stickers over the letters. I used the Fish Tail Banner Die-namics to layer his name along side his pic... yup, that's MFT cork again on the Fish Tail banner! I love the texture and dimension the cork gives! :-)

Before I go, here's the skinny on this month's MFT release:

Handmade cards featuring Lindy Stamp Gang products

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing some cards I created to include in some goodie packages I'll be shipping out. I had a ton of fun with my Lindy Stamp Gang products when creating these cards. The Moon Glow Two-toned embossing powders are so shimmery and pretty, they add a touch of glow and glimmer to any project!

Here are some pictures of my cards.

Here are the Lindy Stamo Gang Products that I used...

Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek! Have a great weekend and Happy Easter!

    "Friend"

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a project for Stamper's Dream. I'm having so much fun playing with my goodies from Michelle's store. ♡

I created this card with the Webster's Pages paper as my inspiration. The papers are from the Ladies & Gents and Trendsetter Collection Double Pack, available at Stampers Dream. I took one of the wooden dressforms from the Manequins Wood Flourishes pack by Kaiser Craft (currently on back-order), stained it with Ranger Distress Stain in Vintage Photo, then created a skirt for my dressform by wrapping around some yellow Maya Road ruffle edge trim. I took the Maya Road Small White Roses Organza Ribbon, stained it with Ranger Distress Stain in Spun Sugar, trimmed it horizontally on the card and took one of the rosettes and adhered it to the wooden dressform. So pretty! I cut a butterfly from the paper collection and adhered that to the dressform as well. Gotta have my special touch added and I just adore butterflies!

I centered the large Maya Road rosette with a Webster's Pages Vintage Sparkler, added some Prima bling and stamped the Sentiment "FRIEND" from the True Blue Friend stamp set by Impression Obsession (currently out of stock.) Then voila! ♡

Thank you for letting me share my latest project with you all!

Also, please click HERE for a sale and some spectacular Blog Candy that Michelle (owner of Stampers Dream) is so generously giving away while she is out of office this week.
