I am fortunate to have my dear friend Bona, who I've known since the 2nd grade. We happen to share the love and passion for paper crafting AND our birthdays are only 6 days apart -- I'm on October 29th and she's on November 4th. We make it a point every year to do a girls night out to dinner to catch up and exchange gifts. The gifts I created for Bona were created as my I Am Roses projects for November.
First off here is a Shabby Chic card I created for Bona using The Melissa Frances 5th Avenue papers and the FleaMarket paper embellishments by ColorBok (I'll have a full product list included at the bottom of this post):
Next up is this gift card box, which I created using FleaMarket design paper and the Sizzix Envelope Box Bigs XL die.
Last up is this altered trunk... I had so much fun creating this. The box is from Treasurenest.Com and the papers again from the Shabby Chic Flea Market collection. I knew this collection would be perfect for Bona because she's used it in the past AND it's totally Shabby Chic (which she loves):

Now for some fun photos! Bona and I met at the Elephant Bar for dinner and we literally shut the place down at 1am! LOL! Those of you have not been to the Elephant Bar, the food is Asian inspired and the atmosphere very relaxed with the place centralized around the middle bar that's opened late! hehe!
Here is Bona with the gifts I created for her:
Here's me with the beautiful birthday balloon Bona made for me using one of her AccuCut dies:
Anyhow, hope you enjoyed my share for today. Have yourself a GREAT week ahead!
hugs!
